Key Responsibilities

  • Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions in areas such as orthopedics.
  • Determines urgent versus emergent problems and triages patients to appropriate specialty physicians.
  • Assesses and treats patients with support from other physician colleagues.
  • May develop and implement a plan of care for these patients, as well as prescribe medications, exercises and/or other treatments Performs minor operative procedures including suturing and injections.

Requirements

  • hire, per state regulations Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post
  • hire, per state regulations Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in orthopedics

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $110,000 - $166,500/year

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Call responsibilities required.
  • No weekends required.
