About the Role

Join VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION OF HANOVER AND SPRING GROVE INC as a Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Compassionate Care: Provide physical therapy services according to a personalized care plan under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Assess and Support: Help evaluate muscle strength, mobility, gait, and range of motion while assisting with equipment needs in the patient’s home environment.

Empower Patients and Families: Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and the use of durable medical equipment to promote recovery and independence.

Collaborate: Work closely with the Physical Therapist, attending physician, and the home care team to ensure each patient receives comprehensive, coordinated care.

Requirements

Graduate of a CAPTE

approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Successful completion of the PTA certification exam.

Active PTA certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.
