Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist performs floor care therapies, oxygen administration, and maintains clinical competency for mechanical ventilation in adult critical care units. They also assist with endotracheal intubation and extubation and perform arterial blood gas draws.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and hold an active NBRC certificate and Florida state license. At least one year of hospital experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
