Join Metro Infectious Disease Consultants as a Infusion Nurse Practitioner (PRN) in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Place and maintain peripheral IV catheters for infusion therapy needs with ongoing assessment of IV site.
  • Prepare medication for IV administration as ordered.
  • Administer IV therapy via electronic pump with troubleshooting of pump alarms and/or administration via gravity/dial-a-flow tubing.
  • Document infusion charting and patient message(s) in EMR system.

Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Nurse Practitioner, preferably with experience in an infusion-related setting, although chemotherapy experience is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must also provide proof of required vaccinations for working with immunocompromised patients.
