About the Role

Newport News, Virginia Overview This position is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients. The RN may work in a variety of settings and roles within Riverside Health System.

Key Responsibilities

• Must demonstrate competence in dealing with age related needs of the specific patient populations served.

• will do Demonstrates ability to assess patient clinical ands psychosocial needs by applying standards of practice as it relates to the specialty or patient population served in the Critical Care/Telemetry units/departments (see unit specific competencies and equipment checklists).

• provide a comprehensive range of services or clinical care associated with and in accordance with standards.

• implement and evaluate plan of care, treatments and procedures that contribute to the physiological and psycho.

Requirements

• Nurse: Registered Nurse (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN)

• Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Required) CPR/BLS Certification
