About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the ability to identify and utilize resource persons and departments for customerservice and patient care.
  • Operates equipmentrequired for pharmacy procedures consistent with operating instructions, safety regulations, and policies and procedures.
  • Dispenses medications and intravenous fluids utilizing the medication dispensing system according to scientific principles and Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Documents on appropriate forms and in systems consistent with guidelines, defined standards of care and practice, and the quality improvements program.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or PharmD) and be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree combined with a PGY-1 residency is desired, with PGY-2 Critical Care residency or equivalent ICU hospital experience preferred.
