The Registered Respiratory Therapist plans and administers various respiratory therapies, including oxygen, aerosol, and bronchial hygiene. They also manage mechanical ventilators, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and provide education to patients and staff.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate degree in Respiratory Care and possess an active Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Required certifications include RRT from the NBRC, BLS, and ACLS.
