Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates physical therapy aimed at restoring or maintaining residents' optimal independence and preventing further disability. This role involves establishing individual care plans, maintaining ongoing communication with the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Canadian school of Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and maintain good standing with the Alberta College of Physiotherapists. Desired qualifications include AADL Authorizer status and experience with MDS and/or RAI, alongside excellent communication and organizational skills.
