About the Role

Join Western North Carolina Community Health Services as a Physician in United States. PHYSICIAN Are you passionate about helping those who struggle to access care or feel unwelcome in other healthcare spaces? Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities in Western North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

  • Must be Medicaid and Medicare eligible * Board Certification is preferred * Experience in community health or outpatient care preferred * Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Russian is a plus * HIV care experience a plus COMPENSATION * Base Salary: $190,000 to $220,000 (based on 40 hours/week) * Incentive Plan WORK/LIFE/FINANCIAL BENEFITS * Competitive health plans including medical, dental, and vision, available for 30+ hour employees * Free telehealth service for you and your household * 403b Retirement Savings with Match * Two (2) Floating Holidays * Eleven (11) Paid Holidays * Accrued PTO based on 40 hrs/wk (total of 156 hours in 1st year) * Flexible schedule design available * No weekends, or holiday work required * Dictation and AI charting available * Employer-paid Life Insurance * Eligibility for Federal and State programs offering bonus incentives or loan repayment for working at WNCCHS a High Needs Service Area.

Requirements

  • MD/DO from accredited school of medicine and completion of accredited residency program required
  • Current, unrestricted North Carolina MD or DO licensure, DEA and BLS required
  • Must be Medicaid and Medicare eligible
  • Board Certification is preferred
