About the Role

Key Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider will provide comprehensive care to patients for the Section of Hematology/Oncology in The Department of Medicine at the Silver Cross Hospital location.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, using advanced clinical skills to manage a caseload of patients.

Assess, diagnose, initiate delegated medical treatments, perform independent nursing interventions and evaluate care.

Provide a model of care that is shaped by theory, expanded by science, research and reflective practice and is identified by a holistic and comprehensive approach to the patients.

Requirements

Master's Degree of Science in Nursing

Current and/or eligibility for State of Illinois RN and APN licensure/registration

Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC or AANP

Must have or be able to qualify for Illinois and DEA prescribing numbers

Work Schedule

Days, 8 a. m. - 5 p. m. schedule.

No call required.

No weekends required.

Day shift only - no nights.

This position offers day shifts only. Work with UChicago Medicine in United States.
