NP - Orthopedic Surgery Job in Salida, Colorado

About the Role

Join an established Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Salida, Colorado. This primarily outpatient role supports a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand Surgeon with no operating room or call coverage required.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Manage acute and chronic cases including splinting and injections.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Coordinate patient care across therapy, imaging, and surgery.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited NP or PA program.
• Current or eligible Colorado license and board certification.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
