Key Responsibilities

The Physician Associate is responsible for patient care under the supervision of a physician, collaborating with medical teams, and performing critical thinking, diagnosis, and ordering of diagnostics and medications. This role involves performing corrective, preventive, and therapeutic measures across inpatient, surgical, and/or outpatient environments.

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, with a Master's degree preferred, and must possess current NCCPA Board Certification, New York State Licensure, DEA Licensure, BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control Certifications. Experience of 0-2 years in the clinical specialty or being a new graduate is required.
