About the Role

Join Regency Integrated Health Services as a Speech Therapist – PRN, Travel Required in United States.

Key Responsibilities

/ KNOWLEDGE: Conducts assessments and reassessments of the patient’s communication and swallowing disorders by applying diagnostic and prognostic procedures.

Plans, implements, and supervises an individualized therapeutic program designed to restore and/ or improve communicative activities of daily living, and to treat swallowing disorders.

Coordinates and collaborates with the Rehab Director, or designed professional, to ensure integration of the therapeutic program in the plan of care.

Guides and teaches the patient in techniques, exercises, or precautions designed to improve the patient’s ability to swallow and communicate.

Requirements

Completes work, care and documentation with accuracy within agency time frames.

Requires minimal supervision and is self-directed.
