About the Role
This part-time Public Health Nutritionist II position is with the Utah County Health Department, located in Provo, Utah, with possible work locations in Payson or Saratoga Springs. The role focuses on assessing client eligibility for WIC services and providing nutrition counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine client eligibility and priority for WIC services.
- Develop nutrition care objectives.
- Provide individualized counseling and class instruction.
- Document interventions and progress.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Human Nutrition or related field.
- Completion of an approved dietetic internship.
- Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Certified Dietician with Utah State licensing.
