Key Responsibilities

Offer functional communication (i.

-, speech/language), oral motor, and feeding/swallowing assessment, with consideration to patients’ and families’ needs and interests.

Develop and implement treatment programs focused on resolving an identified condition or diminishing its functional impact.

With consideration given to patients’ and families’ needs and interests.

Requirements

Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.

Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities. Must possess and maintain Speech

Language Pathologist – Limited License through the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech Language Pathologists. Must follow American Speech
