Key Responsibilities

• manage client crisis, develop strategies to assist clients to prevent further crisis, provide monitoring an.

• provide follow-up brief intervention support to service recipients.

• conduct formal mental health and addiction assessment, short term crisis counseling and referral * Ability t.

• provide assessment to local ER physicians and physicians in offices when required.

Requirements

• Minimum three years experience working with individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury, Intellectual Disability, and/or Developmental Disability

• Minimum three years experience in responding to crisis situations with a variety of individuals in the community and hospital setting

• Extensive knowledge of the Recovery Principles and Recovery Model DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION

• Knowledge of Narrative Practice in single session therapy preferred
