About the Role

Medicus seeks a Hospital Medicine physician for locum coverage in eastern South Carolina. The role involves managing admissions, ICU patients, and performing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily census of 10-22 patients.
• Read EKGs and perform stress tests.
• Handle admissions from the ED and floor calls.
• Work 7am to 7pm shifts, 7 days on and 7 days off.
• Take 24-hour call every other day.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospital Medicine.
