About the Role

Join Texas Children's Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner - Maternal Fetal Medicine in United States. We are searching for a Nurse Practitioner for Maternal Fetal Medicine — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will practice in an advanced role to provide care for obstetrics and/or gynecological patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of treatment and procedures.
  • As an advanced practice nurse, the NP is responsible for education, research, consultation and evaluation of clinical practice at various levels.
  • In this position, you will practice in an advanced practice role to provide comprehensive, evidence‑based care to patients referred to the MFM service for both outpatient and inpatient care.
  • This role includes, but is not limited to, outpatient prenatal care, antenatal testing, inpatient postpartum rounding, and contraceptive procedures.

Requirements

  • Required master's degree Science in Nursing
  • For employees hired with Texas Children’s before 03/01/17, an MSN is required for NPs licensed 01/01/03 or after.
  • For employees hired with Texas Children’s before 03/01/17, either an MSN or a certificate program is required for NPs licensed prior to 01/01/03.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications o RN
