• Must be able to appropriately interact with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities and staff members.

• Knowledge of nursing care standards, nursing procedures, techniques, and the principles and processes used in providing appropriate patient care.

Requirements

• Contract Assignment with Option to Extend ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs moderate to complex patient service work.

• This includes routine and emergency care, treatment, and training for people with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting.

• Performs routine nursing work at the competent level Works under moderate supervision from Charge Nurses or Nurse Managers (Nurses II/III) with limited use of initiative and independent judgment.

• Conducts comprehensive assessments of patients' nursing care needs using specialized skills in (depending on the setting) psychiatric or medical-surgical nursing.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $50/hr

Work Schedule

• Contract position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
