About the Role
Join University of Maryland Emergency Medicine as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner- Part-Time PRN- less than 20 hours weekly in United States. Under general supervision, and in collaboration with physician colleagues, responsible for diagnosing and treating patients. Provides continuity of patient care by facilitating and coordinating communication between the health care team, patient and patient’s family.
Key Responsibilities
- Valid state APRN Recognition (must meet education requirement (s) for state recognition and obtain within six (6) months of hire)
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and BLS by the American Heart Association is required
- DEA and CDS eligible
- CPR required
Requirements
- Demonstrates ability to promote professionalism through involvement in professional organizations, teaching, research, publishing, and/or certification in area of specialty
- specific and age specific needs
- Demonstrates highly effective verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with patient families, departmental units, medical and nursing staff on all essential matters
- Maintains updated mandatory training

- The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc.

- Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Day shift only - no nights.
