Job Description
The Joint Commission seeks Field Representatives with clinical expertise in orthopedics to conduct surveys and reviews of healthcare organizations across the United States. This role involves analyzing compliance with standards, assessing risk points, and providing detailed reports and education to healthcare staff.
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree (or equivalent advanced degree for other practitioners), active licensure, and at least five years of recent experience including three years clinical orthopedic experience and two years in accreditation or certification leadership.
The position requires extensive travel, including weekends and variable hours, and offers a salary of $112,000 annually. Part-time and intermittent positions are available. The role demands strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
