Respiratory Therapist

About the Role

Richmond University Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide cardiopulmonary care under physician supervision. This role involves therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures for patients with respiratory diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and treat cardiopulmonary and respiratory diseases.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing.
• Administer respiratory medications and therapies.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and artificial airways.

Requirements

• Graduate of AMA Accredited School for Respiratory Care.
• NYS Respiratory Therapist registration, diploma, and licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS required; NRP preferred.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $52.66/hr - $58.62/hr (commensurate with experience).
• Full benefits package.

Work Schedule

• Night shifts, 7p-7:15a.
• Every other weekend and holidays.
