Requirements

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing and possession of a current Texas State License for Registered Nurse. Candidates must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support upon hire, with AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days, and specific AHA certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) must be completed within 60 days depending on the unit assignment.
