About the Role
Join Elwyn as a Psychiatrist in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Orders laboratory tests and procedures as indicated to monitor potential side effects of treatment and/or to monitor compliance.
- Orders assessments or consultations for individuals to assist with diagnostic formulation and/or develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conducts and documents according to FHR’s policies and procedures a semi-annual AIMS test for each individual prescribed antipsychotic medication.
Requirements
- & SKILLS: Education: Doctorate in medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school.
- Qualifications Successful completion of an approved residency program in adult psychiatry and licensure required.

- and obtains informed consent from individual or appointed guardian prior to initiating pharmacotherapy.
- Provides psychoeducation to individuals and, when appropriate, their significant others regarding diagnosis, treatment options and recommendations, and self-care techniques.
- Conducts and supervises individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy when clinically and programmatically indicated.
