About the Role

Join University of Washington as a APP (NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT), INPATIENT ACUTE CARE FLOAT, HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • based medicine within the scope of a licensed APP in the inpatient acute care setting including:
  • Rotating among inpatient services including but not limited to General Surgery, Medicine Polytrauma Service, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, & Burns
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage acute & chronic medical conditions

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner:
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • AND Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges
  • AND National certification as an ACNP (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner); (FNPs/Family Nurse Practitioners with at least 3 years of APP/provider level experience in acute care will also be considered).
