Assesses patients and families using a person-centered approach to quickly recognize deviations and abnormalities in physical, emotional, developmental and behavioral status.

Plans and evaluates the care of patients, demonstrating the ability to effectively prioritize care goals for both expected and unanticipated needs while involving the patients and support persons.

Considers the interdisciplinary team as resources for interventions on care goals including evidence based practice.
