- Determines nature and extent of present disorders and formulates appropriate treatment response to support the integration of medical and behavioral health care
- Evaluates consumers with emergent and urgent care needs and makes determinations about safety in the community
- Provides ongoing psychiatric management, including psychiatric medication management, psychotherapeutic support, and crisis intervention, both in the office and in the community
