Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - ICE Detention Center

About the Role

Provide psychiatric and mental health care to Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainees in a detention center environment. This role requires broad clinical skills including urgent and emergency mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions across the lifespan.
• Coordinate care with primary care providers.
• Provide telepsychiatry services.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Respond to medical emergencies and emergency activations.

Requirements

• Permanent, full, unrestricted medical license in the state of duty station.
• Board certification or eligibility by ABPN.
• Minimum one year post-residency experience.
• Basic Life Support certification.
