Key Responsibilities

• include educating families and staff, maintaining and troubleshooting respiratory equipment, and supporting general departmental operations.

• The NICU Respiratory Therapist promotes a culture of safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate, family‑centered care.

Requirements

• State of Michigan Upon Hire required Respiratory Therapist Registry

• NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required Basic Life Support (BLS)

• AHA American Heart Association or American Red Cross Upon Hire required CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) CRT
