Key Responsibilities
- will be considered Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a graduate of an accredited program for nurse practitioners, including preceptorship OR a graduate from a physician assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Certification by the applicable professional organization Current state license - must comply with all state requirements and regulations BLS, CPR certification Prescriptive authority in accordance with state rules and regulations - Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification Skills Skills: Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to work well with a variety of people Must have experience with an Electronic Medical Record Ability to prioritize and solve problems Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity to chronic medical and social problems Ability to relate well to patients, families, co-workers and physicians Ability to set realistic, measurable education goals for patients, taking into consideration patient/family needs, level of understanding and available local resources Ability to develop and provide individualized and group counseling, guidance, and health instruction with a focus on disease prevention and health maintenance Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and basic computer maneuverability Must possess a professional attitude and be willing to complete all clinical as well as administrative assignments Physical Qualifications Light Lifting, Reaching, Twisting Environmental Attributes Inside.

Requirements
- as well as periodic surveillance examinations per company policy, OSHA and NAVSEA.
- Conducts sick call on ill or injured employees with supervision from the Medical Director.
- This includes suturing lacerations, obtaining appropriate x-rays and laboratory tests and counseling employees concerning the results.
- Reviews restrictions on those returning to work and assists in the accommodation review process as needed.

Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
