About the Role

Join Hoag as a Speech Pathologist I: Irvine Speech Therapy in United States. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * The Speech Pathologist I assesses patients for speech related therapy needs due to cognitive, communicative and/or swallowing deficits. * Establishes treatment goals, develops and implements appropriate Speech Pathology treatment program.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Speech Pathologist I assesses patients for speech related therapy needs due to cognitive, communicative and/or swallowing deficits.
  • Establishes treatment goals, develops and implements appropriate Speech Pathology treatment program.
  • This role reviews medical history, applies screening tests, and meets with patient to determine clinical needs, impairments, functional limitation and disabilities.
  • Establishes a plan of care in collaboration with patient and family to include expected intensity, duration of therapy and makes recommendations for discharge.
