About the Role

The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor provides clinical case management and psychosocial interventions for Veterans admitted to Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Programs at Sheridan VA Health Care System.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and develop individualized treatment plans.
Deliver evidence-based psychosocial and environmental interventions.
Conduct therapeutic counseling and crisis management.
Provide education and lectures related to mental health and substance use disorders.
Collaborate with treatment teams and community resources.

Requirements

Licensure as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $76,219 to $119,878 per year.
Full federal benefits including health insurance and pension (FERS).
