Psychiatry, Consultation Liaison Abdominal Transplant

About the Role

Join Montefiore Medical Center as a full-time academic Psychiatrist on the Inpatient Consultation Liaison Service and Abdominal Transplant Service. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a busy tertiary care hospital serving the Bronx community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient consultation psychiatric care.
• Supervise trainees' consults and participate in division and departmental activities.
• Collaborate with transplant center staff including social workers, pharmacists, psychologists, and nutritionists.
• Participate in education and training of medical students, residents, fellows, and psychology interns.

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry.
• Additional training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and/or Addictions Psychiatry encouraged but not required.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $216,000 - $270,000 annually.
