About the Role

Join Iowa Care Community Inc, Iowa City Hospice, Visiting Nurse Association as a Hospice Nurse Practitioner (20 hours/week) in United States. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide symptom management, pain control, and emotional support to patients and their families in accordance with hospice care standards.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice and ensure proper documentation of all clinical activities.
  • Educate patients and families about disease progression, treatment options, and end

Requirements

  • Valid Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license in the state of practice.
  • Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred.
  • Proven experience in hospice, palliative, or geriatric care is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision
