About the Role

Join UF Health as a Mental Health Tech | Behavioral Health Unit (Inpatient) | Part-time (benefits eligible) | Nights in United States. Overview The Mental Health Tech provides care, support, supervision and safety for patients on an Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and under direct supervision of an RN to ensure the provision of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors all patients and provides direct care to patients on an Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.
  • Assists patients with feeding, personal care including bath and linen change as necessary.

Requirements

  • Abusive Psychological & Physical Intervention) within 90
  • days of employment; annual re
  • certification will be required thereafter. Level 2 DCF Background Screening required upon hire.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
