Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic pathology services including gross and microscopic examinations of tissue samples.
- Interpret laboratory results and communicate findings to clinical staff and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to discuss patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
