Key Responsibilities
- Medical Monitoring: Monitor daily documentation for medical needs, identify health trends promptly, and perform health monitoring of documentation to ensure high scores in quality audits.
- Care Coordination: Coordinate with pharmacies and doctors, complete medical appointments, and provide advocacy at critical care consultations.
- Clinical Support: Provide hands
- on care when needed, including wound care, ostomy care, catheter management, and monitoring critical care medical needs.
Requirements
- Education: BSN or ASN from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Active Iowa nursing license in good standing, valid driver's license in good standing required.
- Experience: At least 1
- 2 year of general nursing experience, experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is highly valued.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
