Key Responsibilities
- Must be able to see new and established patients New Patient appointments are 60 minutes; F/U appointments are 20 minutes APP must be able to see patients from ages 16+ · Understanding of DSM V Criteria and psychopharmacological management required · Ability to develop a differential diagnosis and complete medical workup required · Utilization of clinical data (vitals, labs, PHQ9, GAD7, WSAS, Epworth/Stop Bang) into decision making and treatment planning required · Participate in Interventional Psychiatry (training provided) · Up to 20 patients/day are scheduled: our providers see an average 16-20 patients/day · Majority of patient visits will be completed In-Office; remote work is not available for this position · Must be proficient with computers · Understanding ICD-10 and CPT codes; basic understanding of Coding & Billing required · All providers rotate after hours call · Monthly meetings with APP team, Medical Director and Supervising Physician · Quarterly meetings with all providers Requirements Certified PA Current BLS.
