Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible

This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

About the Role

Serve as the Director of Oncology and Chronic Disease Research at the VA Boston Healthcare System. This full-time physician leadership role combines clinical hematology-oncology practice with oversight of a large national research program. Collaborate with top academic institutions and lead innovative cancer and chronic disease studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand oncology and chronic disease research programs.
  • Participate in clinical programs within the Medical Service Section.
  • Collaborate with MAVERIC and other research entities.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Hematology-Oncology.
  • Eligibility for academic appointment at Harvard Medical School or Boston University School of Medicine.
  • Full and unrestricted medical license.
