Key Responsibilities

This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient neurological services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy recommendations for all patients. Additionally, the neurologist performs inpatient neurology consultations upon request from primary care providers at Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a medical school degree and completion of an accredited Neurology residency, along with a current Alaska State Medical Physician license and Basic Life Support certification. Required knowledge includes advanced allopathic medicine and specialty knowledge in therapies for neurologic disorders, alongside strong communication and clinical judgment skills.
