About the Role

Join Homewood Health Centre as a ER PHYSICIAN – MEDICAL & KETAMINE CLINIC (LOCUM 9 MO) in United States. Position Summary An opportunity for an ER physician to work in our medical clinic at Homewood, the national leader in mental health and addictions treatment in Canada. This position is within our specialized treatment program delivering evidence-based treatments and superior clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• will be responsible for the clinical care of patients as they engage in their recovery journey.

• Provide medical care for inpatients up to 3 days per week on a consultant basis (not MRP), for routine physi.

• Provide clinical guidance to the program and to the admitting department for appropriate and timely referral.

• provide routine procedural injections.

Requirements

• 2 per hour (5

• 8 per day on average)

• Administer IV Ketamine and monitor patients for the duration of their treatment

• call or after

Benefits & Compensation

• Degree in Medicine and a license, in good standing, to practice medicine in Ontario

• Registration with CFPC and CPSO

• Experience and comfort administering Ketamine

• Mental health or addiction medicine experience is valued but not required
