Key Responsibilities

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform all respiratory therapeutic procedures, diagnostic testing and complete related documentation according to department policy, procedure, and protocols.

• Provide individualized respiratory care to patients, in a manner that supports their privacy, dignity, and safety.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines (OSHA, DHEC, CLIA, JCAHO) and departmental policies and procedures.

• Resolve technical problems and ensure that remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory’s performance specifications.
