About the Role

Join IUIH as a Counsellor/Family Therapist, Social Health in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted solution focused counselling and support to clients through outreach and community based service delivery.
  • Monitor and contribute to the development of clinical practices, outcomes, procedures and protocols within the Social Health program and across the service.
  • Provide evidence based individual and family counselling/support to people with alcohol and other drug challenges.

Requirements

Candidates must possess knowledge of the mental health and AOD service system and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within an inter-professional team. Essential requirements include a relevant Bachelor's degree in counselling or psychology, a current C Class Driver's Licence, a Criminal History Check, and a Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card).
