Key Responsibilities

Repairs respiratory equipment or reports and delivers malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor as soon as a faulty piece of equipment is identified.

Provides respiratory care involving the application of well-defined therapeutic techniques under the supervision of a respiratory therapist and a physician.

Responds to cardiac/respiratory arrest throughout the hospital and initiates emergency oxygen therapy and ventilation appropriate for any given situation.
