Key Responsibilities

  • Repairs respiratory equipment or reports and delivers malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor as soon as a faulty piece of equipment is identified.
  • Provides respiratory care involving the application of well-defined therapeutic techniques under the supervision of a respiratory therapist and a physician.
  • Responds to cardiac/respiratory arrest throughout the hospital and initiates emergency oxygen therapy and ventilation appropriate for any given situation.

Requirements

  • State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire CRT
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist NBRC
  • State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use,
