Key Responsibilities
- Assessing communication needs: Evaluating individuals' communication needs and designing AAC strategies tailored to those needs.
- Providing training: Training individuals and their support teams on the use of AAC devices and strategies.
- Collaborating with professionals: Working with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to develop comprehensive communication plans.
- Supporting clients: Offering direct support and training to clients and their caregivers to ensure effective communication and computer access.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure/certification as an SLP in Arizona.
- One year of experience as a speech therapist is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance (for home health visits).
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $114.4K - $120.6K
- Signing bonus: $5,000.
