About the Role

Join NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center as a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist. This role offers flexible scheduling including weekdays and weekends at a leading academic medical center in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Perform respiratory treatments and therapies under physician direction.
Supervise Respiratory Technicians.
Assist with transportation of incubated patients.
Assess and recommend respiratory therapy changes.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy.
Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License.
Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS).
Preferred 1-2 years hospital experience and RRT/CRT certification.
