Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory treatments and assesses patients with cardiac or pulmonary conditions in both routine and emergency settings. They are responsible for developing and implementing respiratory care plans while mentoring staff and coordinating discharge equipment.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program and possess current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Pennsylvania. Required certifications include RRT, BLS, and the ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, and NRP within six months of hire.
