Key Responsibilities
- Under the direct supervision of a licensed physician, performs health care services to patients/clients who are under the care of a state institution.
- Incumbents perform medical procedures and tasks in collaboration and consultation with a physician.
- Incumbents independently conduct appropriate examinations and recommend proper diagnosis and treatment; performs related work as required.
- Assesses the health status of patients/clients through comprehensive physical examination and diagnostic procedures to provide for the primary care of patients/clients.
