Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for admitted patients, including adult internal medicine, pediatric, behavioral health, and critical care patients.
- Manage assigned and unassigned admissions from medical staff and external referral sources.
- Monitor patients throughout hospitalization and ensure timely, safe, and compliant discharge processes. CLINICAL LEADERSHIP & EMERGENCY RESPONSE
- Serve as clinical team lead for codes, rapid responses, and emergent clinical events.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of one (1) year of hospitalist or inpatient clinical experience preferred.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
