Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible

This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs through observation and assessment.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients’ functional abilities.

Provide therapy to patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability.

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Connecticut.

Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation methods.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
